Went to see the New Alice in Wonderland yesterday with the boyf and to be honest, I was a little let down. The hype over the film for the past few years has lead us to believe that something fresh was going to be produced, when all we got was a slight crinkle in what is taditionally known as the Alice In Wonderland tale. Disappointment all round.
What was not disappointing however, was the style in which the film was captured, the set, the atmosphere and most importantly the costume.
Colleen Atwood, famous for her creative imput in such films as Nine, Chicago, Edward Scissorhands and Sleepy Hollow was the costume desinger of choice for Tim Burton and needless to say, she did not let him down.
